The Fujairah Culture and Media Authority was established in 2006 by an Amiri decree with the aim of developing performance and enhancing Fujairah's cultural and media identity. The authority develops its media and cultural vision by working with local community institutions related to culture, arts, and theater. It also works to develop the creative aspects of youth and create common spaces for dialogue and constructive discussion between generations. The authority's media system includes Fujairah TV, Fujairah Radio, and Zayed Radio for the Holy Quran.
