WTXK The Ticket

There’s a new player in local sports talk radio, but the man behind it certainly is no newcomer to the local broadcasting scene.

Al Stroh recently started up WTXK – “The Ticket” – an all-sports station available on both the AM (1210) and FM (107.5).

107.5 FM can be heard loud and clear in Montgomery, Elmore and Autauga counties day and night, and 1210 has one of the strongest AM signals in central Alabama.

The clarity of the stations, particularly the strength of the FM signal at night, could give WTXK a competitive advantage over existing all-sports stations.

The same programming is simulcast on both stations. The FM 107.5 signal is designed for listeners in Montgomery, Wetumpka and Prattville. The AM 1210 signal can be heard from just south of Birmingham to Dothan.

Currently the stations carry ESPN with some local radio programming.
