There are a lot of folks out there that are tired of listening to the same senseless songs on repeat all day on mainstream radio. If you are one of them, welcome home. Our mission, here at WSCR, is to bring quality alternative radio to Frederick, MD, the DMV, and the world.

It is and always will be our duty and honor to foster the spirit of independent music. We hope to do this by presenting our listeners with a format that brings you music from indies the world over. Not just artists, but independent producers as well. We are home to some of the best independent radio shows out there. We even throw in a touch of classic soul and RnB because... well... what's soul music without some old school?
