WRVO Public Media is a non-profit, multi-platform news and information service for residents of central and northern New York state -- with a mission to provide for the special tastes, needs and interests of our listeners in central and northern New York. Our total service strives to enhance intellectual development, expand knowledge and deepen aesthetic enjoyment. Our award-winning news department covers central New York, the North Country, Southern Tier, Mohawk Valley and state politics out of Albany; additional coverage includes the Great Lakes and western New York.

WRVO is an NPR affiliate member station with main offices in Oswego, NY at the State University of New York at Oswego. Satellite studios are located in downtown Syracuse, NY.
