WRVO 89.9 FM

WRVO is an award-winning news and information public radio station operating in central and northern New York. Along with content from NPR and other producers, we also air regional news coverage and other programming created in-house.

In addition to local news and programming, WRVO operates two additional streams. PRX Remix is heard on our second stream (heard online and with the WRVO app) and features short pieces from the Public Radio Exchange (PRX). This includes found tape or interviews, music reviews and short stories. It's been called the 'best of public radio on shuffle.'
