WHUS 91.7 FM

WHUS is UConn's student and community operated radio station. It has been broadcasting in one form or another since 1922. WHUS broadcasts 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

WHUS offers students the opportunity to get hands-on training in broadcasting, sound production, journalism, marketing, and other activities.

WHUS provides live broadcasts of many UConn sports games, from basketball to soccer, hockey and lacrosse. We play music of all genres, from hip-hop to folk, bluegrass to techno, indie, classical, jazz and more. WHUS also airs public affairs shows as Democracy Now and Free Speech Radio News.
