WGDR.rocks Grateful Dead Radio is a 24-hour streaming station dedicated to the music of the Grateful Dead, drawing from over 800 hours of their recordings. The station broadcasts a wide variety of music and public affairs programming created by local volunteers in Vermont, alongside content from the Pacifica Radio Network. Originally founded in 1973 as WGDR, it is the oldest non-commercial community radio station in Vermont and transitioned to community ownership under Central Vermont Community Radio (CVCR) in 2021. WGDR also operates a sister station, WGDH, and together they reach numerous cities and towns across Vermont.
