Salt 106.5 is owned and operated by Sunshine Coast Christian Broadcasters Association Inc (SCBBA). The station commenced broadcasting in 1993.

Salt 106.5 broadcasts 24 hours, seven days a week, reaching out to the Sunshine Coast community and beyond with the Christian message: ‘Life changing radio’.

Programming includes 50 percent Christian music, instructional ministry programmes, supportive family programmes, news – including faith news and listener interaction.
