Radio Comunità Nuova was founded in 1977 in Resuttano, Sicily, by Padre Michele Indorato. It began as an aggregation and emancipation element for the youth and community, maintaining a connection to Catholic Church doctrine. The station has undergone technological renovations, including streaming in 2010 and the launch of Android and iOS apps in August 2018. Today, it operates as a local Catholic community radio station with a frequency of 95.0 FM, covering much of Central Sicily.
