KNOM-FM

KNOM is an award-winning, non-profit radio station located in Nome, Alaska, just south of the Arctic Circle. The station broadcasts at 96.1 FM and 780 AM and can be heard all over Western Alaska: from Bethel to Barrow (the northernmost town in the United States) and throughout the villages and rural stretches of the Alaskan Bush. Occasionally, KNOM's signal has even reached across the Pacific, to listeners in Russia and Japan.
