For over thirty years, KINI 96.1 FM has served south central South Dakota and north central Nebraska. Today, KINI is owned and operated by St. Francis Mission, broadcasting at 90,000 kilowatts 24-7 to all of the Rosebud Reservation and an audience of over 20,000 listeners. As the voice of St. Francis Mission, it offers programs for evangelization, religious education, national news, reservation news, and a wide variety of musical entertainment. Additionally, KINI provides local and national news, weather updates, and live coverage of the major high school sports activities.
