Kairi FM started broadcasting on November 14 1994 on Old Street in the capital city of Roseau on two frequencies of 107.9 and 93.1 Three years later the station moved to a bigger building in the city as the first building had become too small and business continued to grow rapidly within the organization .The business was operated by shareholders from 1994 to 2000.
