About Hospital Radio Hillingdon

Radio Hillingdon is a registered charity run entirely by volunteers, serving patients at Hillingdon Hospital and residents of the London Borough of Hillingdon. Established in 1970, the station broadcasts music requests, dedications, news, and music for all ages 24 hours a day, accessible via the hospital's bedside system, online, and through a free app. The station relies on fundraising efforts and donations, as it is not funded by the NHS, and has won a Gold award in the National Hospital Radio Awards for Best Specialist Music Programme.
