Every evening between 8.30 and 10pm VIP Requests hits the airwaves and the goods news is that if you miss your request, we repeat the whole show the following afternoon between 3.30 and 5pm.
Hospital Radio Chelmsford (HRC) provides radio shows 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to patients of Broomfield Hospital and beyond. The station offers a wide range of programming, including music, news, interviews, and chat shows, aiming to provide entertainment, information, and a sense of community. HRC was established in 1964 and broadcasts from its studio complex at Broomfield Hospital, with plans to return to the hospital for easier patient access in 2026.
