Capital East Midlands is an Independent Local Radio station broadcasting to the East Midlands. The station, owned and operated by Global Radio, forms part of the nine-station Capital radio network. It began broadcasting on 3 January 2011 following the merger of Trent FM, Leicester Sound and Ram FM.
