Bumma Bippera Media 98.7FM is the first and only Indigenous radio service in Gimuy (Cairns), with studios located at 1/143 Buchan Street. The station is heard in Cairns and surrounding areas, potentially reaching over 150,000 listeners daily, and extends nationally via its Talk Black program and other programs through the National Indigenous Radio Service. BBM 98.7FM aims to be the best Community Radio Station in Cairns, involving a broad cross-section of the community with both Indigenous and non-Indigenous volunteers and staff.
