In 1995, Mark Harris, AKA "Daddy Saw," created 96Mixx to showcase the true essence and culture of South Florida's Caribbean community. He provided listeners with a radio station EXPERIENCE that mainstream RADIO DID NOT PROVIDE. Daddy Saw put together a group of the best DJ’s representing the best of Caribbean music and featured their talents on 96Mixx. Over two decades later, 96Mixx continues to be a station “For the people, by the people,” providing listeners with the best that Reggae, Dancehall, Soca, Calypso, R&B, and Hip Hop has to offer. 96Mixx and its DJ’s has been rated number one in the Caribbean community for several years, and they continue to be the global representative of the Caribbean culture.
